This 15 acre sanctuary utilizes public property owned by the City of Yoakum and the Lower Colorado River Authority. (LCRA)

Habitats vary from open meadowland to dense woods along Brushy Creek.

A leisurely walk on the marked trail should reveal hawks, songbirds, woodpeckers and swallows as well as butterflies and wild flowers.

Located adjacent to US Highway 77-A Business, south of Yoakm. This 15 Acre sanctuary utilizes public property owned by the City of Yoakum and the Lower Colorado River Authority. Habitats vary from open meadowland to dense woods along Brushy Creek.
